When I started in mortgage banking in 1997 I discovered quickly that there were six things that covered 90% of what went into every mortgage file. It didn’t matter whether the client’s goal was to get pre-approved for an FHA mortgage as a first time home buyer, a conventional mortgage for a refinance, or a Jumbo mortgage for that perfect home, I kept coming back to the same six things on every loan file. I put together this video to make it easy to understand and explain what these six things are.
